Lowrider Lane is back with tricked-out rides, and the Lucha Libre Cantina Ring brings the high-flying drama—with a side of cocktails, of course. The mercado will be packed with 100+ local vendors, plus free activities like face painting and crafts to keep the kiddos entertained.

It’s a full-on celebration of Mexican culture, music, and community, and best of all—it’s free.

Cinco de Mayo SD Frida Fiesta

Downtown is going full Frida for Cinco de Mayo weekend! The Frida Fiesta is transforming the Gaslamp Quarter into a three-day celebration packed with color, culture, and non-stop energy.

Think 30+ participating venues, 15 welcome shots, a Frida fashion costume contest, DJs, live music, and a massive block party that takes over the streets on Saturday with Mariachi bands, Lucha Libre matches, lowrider showcases, and a vibrant artisanal mercado.

It’s also Toro Nightclub’s 5th anniversary, Kentucky Derby weekend, and a full-on toast to all things bold, festive, and fun. Tickets unlock access to all venues, drinks, dining deals, and over $400 in perks.

The Viva La Música series brings headliners like the all-female Mariachi Divas and Mexican pop star Pablo Montero.

Throughout the weekend, catch traditional dance by Grupo Folklorico Herencia Mexicana and flamenco sets by guitarist David De Alva and dancer Vanessa Ordonez.
