Marisi Debuts Talented Trifecta at “Friends of James Beard” Benefit Dinner
More exciting news for La Jolla’s food and beverage scene: Standout Italian newcomer, Marisi, is proud to welcome Executive Chef Cameron Ingle (Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro, Ori Menashe’s Bestia, Bavel, and Dan Barber’s Michelin 2-star Blue Hill at Stone Barns) to its talent-filled roster.
Chef Ingle’s substantial culinary pedigree is paired with a daring bar program led by Beau du Bois, known for his work at the three-star Michelin spot, The Restaurant at Meadowood.
Together with Christopher Plaia as Wine Director, this trio is setting the stage for an unmatched dining experience on La Jolla’s Wall Street.
Marisi Hosts Friends of James Beard Dinner
To celebrate and feast for a good cause, Marisi is hosting a special “Friends of James Beard Dinner” in La Jolla on March 20th.
The evening will commence at 6 PM with a cocktail reception, followed by a five-course meal from Chef Ingle that will showcase his relentless passion for local sourcing and for highlighting all San Diego has to offer.
You’ll be joined by a few of the local farms Marisi partners with to help tell the story of spring in the city. This is the first time James Beard has traveled to San Diego for a Friends of James Beard Dinner in over 10 years.
See you there!
Tickets are $350 per person, and reservations can be made on OpenTable.
A portion of ticket proceeds from this event will go directly to the James Beard Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to celebrate, support, and elevate the people behind America’s food culture, and champion a standard of good food that is anchored in talent, equity, and sustainability.
