2024 Oceanside Hometown Heroes Nominations Now Open!

Honoring these Hometown Heroes reflects MainStreet Oceanside’s commitment to recognize the selfless acts of courage, kindness, and dedication by the residents of the city.

Nominees must be residents of Oceanside, but there are no restrictions regarding race, ethnicity, age, or the type of volunteer service performed. This inclusive approach ensures that any deserving individual can be recognized for their unique contributions.

The selected Hero (or Heroes) will have the distinct honor of being recognized in the annual Oceanside Independence Parade, which will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Awardees must be available on this date to ride in the parade and share in celebrating their achievements with the community.
