Oceanside’s Locals Only Vodka Made With A Love Of California And High-Quality Craft Spirits

Have you seen the Locals Only Vodka VW van cruising around town yet? If not, you probably will soon.

The San Diego-based brand, launched right as the pandemic began, is living their ‘Live Like a Local’ mantra by getting out into the community and introducing their craft vodka brand at local events, bars, and restaurants now that the pandemic restrictions have subsided.

A Shared Love of the California Lifestyle

The business was founded by a few friends who have a common thread: a love of the California lifestyle and a passion for making high-quality craft spirits.

Like many of us, they were all born in different locations across the country but fell in love with San Diego, and now proudly call it home.

The “Live Like a Local” mantra was created to celebrate the San Diego lifestyle, and living, acting, and supporting like a local is at the core of everything that they do.

What Makes Their Vodka ‘Local’?

You may be wondering what – other than a catchy brand – is behind the ‘local’ in Locals Only Vodka. A look at the ingredients and manufacturing process shows their commitment to being truly local:

The vodka is made with California-grown grapes and Palomar Mountain Spring Water, and is produced right here in Oceanside at Pacific Coast Spirits, where you are invited to come visit for tours, parties, and tastings with distiller Nicholas Hammond.

“San Diego is our inspiration and crafting a locally sourced vodka that gives back is our passion,” says President and Founder Sean Heal.

“We want to be true to our name by living and acting like a local in whatever community we are in. By that, we mean embracing local communities by supporting fellow small businesses and highlighting local influencers, artists, bartenders, and athletes through our local savage platform.”

Taking the San Diego Vibe National

Locals Only Vodka is now available throughout California and recently launched in Arizona, North Dakota, and Tennessee, with plans to be in about 6 – 8 states by the end of the year and hopefully taking their San Diego vibe national soon!

You can also find them at these events this summer:

1% For The Planet

The founders of Locals Only Vodka view giving back as no longer optional. It is essential.

“We also localize our donations from our partnership with 1% For The Planet, by choosing to work with non-profits that impact that specific community the most. So whether it is wake surfing in Tennessee, snowboarding in Colorado, or ice fishing in North Dakota we live like a local wherever we are!”

As a proud member of 1% For The Planet, Locals Only Vodka supports various environmental charities and communities across the country.

1% For The Planet is a global network of businesses, non-profits, and individuals working together for a healthy planet. Their collaboration with partners across many communities allows them to make a positive impact at a local level.

Locals Only donates 1% of all sales to local non-profits focused on making the world a better place.
