Looking For That Perfect Spring Outfit? You Can’t Go Wrong At These San Diego Boutiques!

The rain is finally slowing down, and the sun is out! That can only mean one thing:

It’s time to go shopping!

We asked our resident fashion and shopping expert, Jodie Alonso, owner of Vintage Bits and co-founder of the Local Bazaar to share her favorite San Diego boutiques for guaranteed shopping success.

Jodie Alonso of Vintage Bits

Here’s what she told us:

Clothe + Arrow

First up is Clothe + Arrow on the South Coast Highway, Oceanside. Newly opened last December this cool boutique hosts Local labels & shares its space with All Ye Citizens providers of home wares, accessories & apothecary. Brandy Bailey, Clothe + Arrow’s owner describes the boutique as a free spirited boho luxe store for the babes who like to take the road less travelled. Bailey has carefully curated a handful of fabulous brands such as Golden Daze, Sundia Swim wear & they do regular events like this weekends Resort 2017 Luau party. Be sure not to miss it!

Sea + Wander

Sea + Wander in Cardiff By The Sea is a community orientated concept store, balancing a mix of city edge with a beach vibe. It is a one stop shop with Fashion, accessories, apothecary, eco friendly toys for the kids & a great selection of gifts & stationary. Labels include, Mother Denim, Free People, Zadie & Voltaire & Tori Praver Swimwear. Sea + Wander’s owner Maria Thornton’s intention with the store is to empower woman through networking & supporting each other in business, motherhood & sisterhood. Thornton often hosts events within the store like the recent Boss Babes Brunch club which was a huge hit & a fantastic way to network with other local business woman. As soon as you walk through the door you feel relaxed & assured that you will find some great pieces for your wardrobe & home.

Shop Van De Vort

Shop Van De Vort in Flower Hill Del Mar is every Coachella babes favourite shopping destination.  Spring is their busiest time of year & what is so great about how Andrea Van De Vort buys for the store is that she only ever has one or two pieces in the same style so you can be assured to stand out from the crowd at your next Festival. Their top selling labels are Stone Called Fox, For Love & Lemons, & Jeffrey Campbell. Price points are great too around the $100 mark for a fab floral romper or maxi dress. They have newly opened up next door is their Mini Market for the little fashionista in your life.

Bloom

Bloom on Melrose Drive in San Marcos have new items arriving daily & they also offer kids wear. This newly opened last October Boutique has fast become a favorite with locals & if you are not local to the area it is well worth the trip. Rejane Wagner the owner is always on the look out for new & exciting labels to carry. Right now their best sellers are Chaser, Ellan & Love Stitched. They are busy planning an event in time for Mother’s Day so be sure to check them out & follow their story. They carry a fantastic selection of pretty dresses, accessories, cute tops & denim.

Time to get shopping!

We’ll see you there!
