Petals & Poetry: A Valentine’s Floral Workshop at Treehouse Café

Treehouse, the all-day dining collective in Sorrento Mesa, is teaming up with San Diego wedding and event florist Sage & Autumn for a pre-Valentine’s workshop that combines flowers, poetry, and handwritten love letters. Petals & Poetry is designed for anyone who wants to slow down and create something beautiful, whether you’re coming with your partner, friends, or just treating yourself to a creative evening out.

Build Your Own Floral Arrangement

The guided floral workshop gives you everything you need to create a Valentine’s-inspired arrangement, including the vessel, florals, tools, and materials.

No experience is necessary, and you get to take your arrangement home to keep or gift. The workshop runs for two hours, giving you enough time to work at your own pace without feeling rushed.

A Love Letter Bar With Vintage Paper and Wax Seals

One of the highlights is the Love Letter Bar, where you can write a note to a partner, friend, family member, or yourself using vintage paper and elegant wax seals. It’s a keepsake moment that lasts longer than the flowers themselves.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll also be immersed in poetry with a short inspirational reading and a selection of curated poetry books available for quiet reflection and inspiration.
