Celebrate Iconic Music With Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge at The Rady Shell
Some shows just feel bigger than the sum of their parts. Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge – two of the most distinctive voices in American music – are bringing the Raised on Radio Tour to the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.
Both artists built careers on raw emotion, honest writing, and vocals that hit somewhere deep. Between them, they’ve racked up Grammys, platinum records, and a catalog of songs people have been singing along to for decades.
Wynonna Judd
Wynonna first made her mark as half of The Judds, the mother-daughter duo that dominated country music through the ’80s. When she went solo in the ’90s, she didn’t miss a beat – “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw the Light,” and “No One Else on Earth” all landed at the top of the charts.
She’s currently working on a new album, “The Hard Truth,” which leans into themes of heartbreak, healing, and survival. Expect her set to feel personal.

Melissa Etheridge
Etheridge has never been the kind of artist who plays it safe. Her raspy, blues-inflected rock broke through in a big way with “Yes I Am” and the songs “Come to My Window” and “I’m the Only One” – both still instantly recognizable.
She’s a Grammy winner, an Academy Award winner, a breast cancer survivor, and one of the most influential LGBTQ+ voices in entertainment. What she brings to a live show is that rare quality of making a large outdoor venue feel intimate.

Make It a VIP Night
A few VIP packages are available if you want to upgrade the experience. For Melissa fans, the Etheridge On Tour VIP Merch Bundle includes a premium seat plus an autographed photo print, an exclusive canvas workwear jacket, and a carry-on duffle bag – all shipped after the show.
Wynonna’s Signature Photo Op Package adds a photo op with Wynonna, an autographed poster, and a VIP merch pack. Prefer merch without the meet-and-greet? The Classic Merch Package has you covered with a premium seat, exclusive poster, and merch pack.
A Night at the Shell
The Rady Shell is one of those venues that make a great show even better. Set along San Diego Bay in Jacobs Park, the open-air waterfront setting adds something to every performance – and for a summer night with two artists of this caliber, the atmosphere is going to be something.
