Hear San Diego’s Worst Dating Stories Turned Into Songs at About Last Night
Good dates end with a text back. Bad dates deserve an audience. About Last Night lands at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, and the entire night runs on the stories locals usually only tell their group chat.

The Bad Date is the Whole Point
A handful of San Diego locals take the stage to share their worst dating and hookup stories. Awkward, funny, and painfully real, told by the people who actually lived them.
Nothing gets sanded down for the room. That’s the appeal, and it’s why the crowd tends to lean in instead of looking away.

Jimmy Berry Turns the Cringe Into a Song
Live musician Jimmy Berry follows each story with a song built from what he just heard. Same details, new soundtrack. It’s the part people talk about on the way out. A story you can barely say out loud is one thing. A story with a chorus is another.

A Decade of This, in Cities Across the Country
About Last Night has been running since 2016, playing to thousands of people in multiple cities around the U.S. Comedy, connection, and a room full of strangers realizing their own dating history isn’t so unusual. Saturday is San Diego’s turn.
If it Sells Out, There’s Still the Door
Tickets are on Eventbrite right now. If the online allotment sells out, a limited number may be available at the door on a first come, first served basis. Doors are at the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, which puts you a short walk from everywhere you’d want to go after.
