Animae + Aisu Creamery Sweet Collaboration Brings Us Banana Cocojam

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Banana Cocojam! That’s right—a new special edition farm-to-pint ice cream from Aisu Creamery, the ice cream brand born out of legendary Chino Farms in Rancho Santa Fe, has dropped!

This exclusive flavor bomb is the delightful result of a sweet partnership between Chef Tara Monsod of Animae and Makoto Chino & Elina Hood, the talented team behind Aisu Creamery.

Banana Cocojam Aisu Creamery

Mixing influences from their Asian heritage, Monsod and Aisu’s collaborative Banana Cocojam encompasses profiles from Japan’s banana flavored sponge cake, lovingly known as a Tokyo Banana, and Manila Cocojam, a sweet syrup made from coconut cream and cane sugar that’s a popular filling in Filipino desserts.

Pints of the special Banana Cocojam flavor are available for pre-order and pick-up from Home Ec in Little Italy, while supplies last.

See you there, San Diego!
