Barleymash Celebrates The Kentucky Derby With Food & Drink Specials

The Kentucky Derby is set to take place on Saturday, September 5th, and barleymash is tipping it’s over-the-top hat to the race with themed food and drink specials throughout the day!

The Gaslamp Quarter restaurant and bar has partnered with Woodford Reserve and G.H. Mumm Champagne for a day of fun, with plenty of patio seating and spots to watch the race.

Themed bites include the Derby Delight, a creamy cucumber, dill dip, pretzel crostini’s, carrot and celery sticks, and a deviled egg, and Hot Brown Sliders, three open-faced sliders, piled high with roasted turkey, bacon, and white cheddar cheese sauce.

And, of course, a Derby party wouldn’t be complete without cocktails! Sip back and relax to a Classic Mint Julep, made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, fresh mint, sugar, and crushed ice.

Or barleymash’s Derby Old Fashioned with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, bitters, and sugar.

You can also enjoy Mumm Brut Champagne – $12 per glass, $40 for the bottle.

So get ready to place your bets and head to barleymash on Saturday, so you don’t miss any of the action!

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
