The Boardwalk Hotel Debuts in Mission Beach: Beach Bliss and Boutique Chic

Move over, standard beach motels! There’s a new kid on the block in Mission Beach, and it’s about to redefine your idea of a coastal getaway. The Boardwalk Hotel has just soft-opened its doors, and we’ve to the inside scoop on the hot new boutique escape.

Boardwalk Hotel

Location, Location, Location

Nestled perfectly between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay, this stylish newcomer is turning heads faster than a dolphin spotting at sunset. The brainchild of co-developer Daniel Kalenov, The Boardwalk Hotel is set to become the go-to spot for those seeking a touch of luxury with their beach vacation.

“Mission Beach has been an iconic destination in San Diego for over a century, but it’s never had an iconic place to stay… Now it does,” Kalenov tells us, and we couldn’t agree more.

Step outside, and you’re in the heart of San Diego’s coastal playground. To your left, the iconic Belmont Park roller coaster beckons thrill-seekers. To your right, the tranquil waters of Mission Bay invite you for a paddleboard session, surfing, sunbathing, or strolling the boardwalk—it’s all at your fingertips.

Boho Bungalows and Rooftop Views

With just 18 rooms, The Boardwalk Hotel is keeping things intimate and oh-so-chic. Cozy up in a stylish boho bungalow or treat yourself to a lavish 2-bedroom suite complete with ocean views and a private rooftop deck.

Imagine soaking in your personal hot tub on a private patio after a day of sun and surf. Or maybe you’re more about unwinding in a spa-inspired bathroom. Either way, The Boardwalk Hotel’s got you covered.

More Than Just a Pretty Face

Sure, The Boardwalk Hotel is easy on the eyes, but it’s got brains too. We’re talking smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes that’ll make your home chef dreams come true.

And let’s not forget the crown jewel: a spacious common area patio decked out with fire pits, comfy seating, and plenty of shade. It’s the perfect spot for sipping a cold one and indulging in some world-class people-watching.

The Boardwalk Hotel

Coming Soon: Baja Flavors

The Boardwalk Hotel has plans to spice things up even more with a “Baja cantina-style” restaurant set to open in late 2024. Soon, you’ll be able to satisfy your cravings for coastal cuisine without ever leaving the property.

See you there!
