Breathe Degrees Just Opened a Second Location in Liberty Station

If you’ve been curious about cold plunges or breathwork, Breathe Degrees just opened a second location in Liberty Station and it’s worth the visit. The studio brings the world’s largest indoor cold plunge, a stadium-style sauna, guided breathwork, yoga, and an Aufguss ceremony to one of San Diego’s most community-driven neighborhoods.

Since launching in Carlsbad in 2021, Breathe Degrees has guided more than half a million people through scientifically backed experiences designed to regulate the nervous system and extend long-term health. The Liberty Station studio is the next chapter in that mission.

Breathe Degrees brings its wellness community to Liberty Station

Five Reasons to Walk Through the Door

The Liberty Station location offers the full Breathe Degrees experience across five core offerings:

  • World’s Largest Indoor Cold Plunge – A 7-by-17-foot communal plunge linked to elevated mood, sharper focus, and resilience
  • Stadium-Style Sauna – A 14-by-14-foot sauna supporting cardiovascular health, muscle recovery, and longevity
  • Guided Breathwork – Instructor-led breathing that resets the nervous system and expands lung capacity
  • Yoga – Breathwork-infused flows emphasizing mind-to-body connection and presence
  • Aufguss Ceremony – A European sauna ritual combining essential oils, towel choreography, and waves of heat

The Aufguss Ceremony is also woven into community events, social gatherings, and the studio’s upcoming Breathe After Dark summer series.

The Idea Behind the Studio

Here’s what makes Breathe Degrees a little different from your average wellness studio.

It was built around the idea that shared physical experiences create real human connection. And at a time when loneliness has been recognized as a public health crisis by the U.S. Surgeon General, that feels like exactly the kind of space San Diego needs more of.

Beyond the individual modalities, the studio positions itself as a training ground for life – building resilience, regulating the nervous system, and unlocking human potential through intentional community.

Liberty Station, with its community-driven energy and shared cultural spaces, is a natural fit for all of it.
