The Busalacchi Family Launches Brunch At Nonna, Lunch At Barbusa

Two of Little Italy’s favorites are expanding their service so you have more options to feast on your favorite Italian comfort food!

Brunch at Nonna

Nonna + Zucchero, the Busalacchi Family’s Little Italy gem, which focuses on Italian comfort food like Nonna would make, is excited to announce that they have added weekend brunch to their list of offerings.

The new breakfast menu is available on Saturday and Sundays from 8:30am to 2:00pm, and includes both savory and sweet options.

Standout dishes include Mixed Berries and Ricotta topped with lavender honey and caramelized pine nuts, Short Rib Hash, served with two eggs and toasted ciabatta, and the Egg Panini, made with fried eggs, American cheese, ham, and brioche, served with Nonna’s potatoes.

To complement the breakfast dishes, Nonna will also be offering mimosas, bellinis, and a prosecco cocktail, along with Cafe Zucchero’s (the bakery located within Nonna,) signature baked goods and coffees.

Lunch at Barbusa

In addition to Nonna’s brunch, the Busalacchi’s other Little Italy outpost, Barbusa, is excited to welcome back its lunch offerings. Lunch is being reintroduced on Saturdays and Sundays for the time being, and will utilize the same menu as dinner, allowing guests to get all their favorites starting at noon on the weekends. Swing by for a full lunch enjoyed on Barbusa’s outdoor patio, to grab takeout, or to indulge in apps and drinks in the afternoon.

See you there…and stay heatlhy, San Diego!
