Cali Breakfast Launches Cali By Night Speakeasy-Style Experience

Downtown San Diego’s newly opened Cali Breakfast, which is quickly becoming a favorite spot to start the day, has just launched Cali By Night, inviting evening guests to enjoy a “speakeasy” feel as they enter through a side gate just to the left of their main entrance.

Cali By Night is a time of connection, cocktails and of course, platefuls of great food to savor. Open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5PM to 10PM, you are in for a perfect evening dinner away from the hustle and bustle of the Gaslamp District.

Fill up on a variety of sushi rolls, or sink your teeth into Fig and Spinach Flatbread with crispy bacon, burrata cheese and fig jam, or Tacos De Camaron. Mango Ceviche and Watermelon Salad will also refresh the palate as you dive into one of their signature cocktails, like their Florida Boy with rice vodka, passion fruit juice, coconut, grenadine, lime and orange juice.

Margarita flights and yummy sangria will also be flowing, along with a robust list of wine and bubbly spirits.

Valentine’s Day Dinner

To kickstart the Cali By Night concept, they will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner! This Prix-Fix three-course menu will feature a selection of light starters such as Steak Tartare, Salmon Carpaccio and Deviled Eggs.

Entrees such as Heart-Shaped Ravioli and Surf and Turf with an 8 oz. filet mignon and jumbo shrimp will ignite the romance, along with a third-course dessert menu to please every “sweet” heart.

$44.95 per person. Click here for the full menu.

See you there

Cali Breakfast and Cali By Night are located at 702 Ash Street, at the base of the iconic El Cortez Hotel.

See you there, San Diego!
