Candy Land is Becoming a Real Café – and It’s Opening in San Diego
Bucket Listers and Hasbro are turning the classic board game into a full-blown dining experience, and San Diego is where it’s making its world debut. The first-ever Candy Land Café is a limited-time pop-up that drops us straight into a candy-coated world built around one of the most recognizable games of all time – with immersive sets, interactive moments, and a menu to match.
King Kandy’s Castle is a Real Place Now
The space takes the game’s most iconic locations and builds them out in real life. King Kandy’s Castle, Jolly’s Gumdrop Mountains, winding paths, and towering candy structures – all designed with the kind of oversized, colorful detail that makes every corner a photo moment.
A Sweet Adventure Checklist guides you through the space, and a DIY cookie decorating station keeps things hands-on. It works for families, date nights, and group outings equally well.

Rainbow Burgers, Fondue, and Over-the-Top Milkshakes
The food leans playful. Rainbow burgers, chocolate BBQ sliders, over-the-top milkshakes, and a shareable Chocolate River fondue experience. Cocktails and zero-proof drinks come with colorful, interactive elements designed for groups. Comfort food with a candy-store twist, and it fits the room perfectly.
Proven Track Record
This comes from Derek Berry, the creative mind behind The Malibu Barbie Café, The Golden Girls Christmas, and Saved by the Max. Bucket Listers has been doing this kind of thing long enough to know how to make it land.
