Carlsbad Is About To Get A Major (And Delicious) Upgrade

The burgeoning Carlsbad Village is about to sprout one serious upgrade!

Slated to open April 2017, Park 101 will reveal an expansive 8,000 sq. ft. multi-level, plaza style restaurant and lounge complex that, quite frankly, already has us chomping at the bit.

The guys of Park 101 are working hard to fulfill their vision of making the complex unlike anything in the area, and with a development cost packing in at about $5 million, we have no doubts it will be awesome.

After all, the concept of bringing a fresh dining, drinking and “grab and go” experience to the awesome views of the seaside village of Carlsbad is pretty darn genius.

For “on the go” visitors, the Market will feature an old fashioned, street-side walk-up window, serving a hearty list of take-away treats such as hot tri-tip sandwiches, ready-made juices, fresh espresso and coffee, ice cream sandwiches, as well as irresistible handmade doughnuts.

Yum!

Visitors can meander across the plaza, where Park 101’s indoor/outdoor Garden Pub will offer a variety of up to 32 local tap beers and a wide selection of regional wine offerings.

The Tamarack View Deck will feature a rooftop lounge with fire pits and cozy seating areas, where gourmet snacks and million-dollar views of the vibrant Carlsbad Village will be served daily.

Hello, date nights one and two.

Also on the property, Park 101 Barbecue will serve as a “go-to” spot for lip-smacking ribs and a rack of meat-centric BBQ specialties. Cooked to perfection, the signature sauce and methods will be inspired by the talents, traditions and recipe secrets of pitmaster greats who have made their way to the top of the food chain.

Okay, now you’re just speaking to our souls!

Park 101 is owned and managed by local partners Peter Cich, Doug Sondomowicz and Rob McShea, who all have proven track records of major success, and who share a sincere interest in community enhancement and involvement.

Peter, Doug and Rob, you make us proud!
