Announcing Carlsbad’s New WR Kitchen & Bar

WR Kitchen & Bar is proud to announce the upcoming opening of a Carlsbad location, adding to its first outpost in Laguna Niguel. The new location will occupy a 3,900 square-foot space at The Square at Bressi Ranch, and is currently slated to open this fall.

An exciting new addition to the area’s culinary scene, the wood-grilled haven is tailored to today’s sophisticated, time-challenged guest with a focus on serving delicious, high quality food in an energetic environment. As the offshoot of the Southern California-based chain, Wood Ranch, WR Kitchen & Bar is ready to bring its own tasty flair to the city’s hungry guests.

Featuring a wood-fired open kitchen, WR Kitchen & Bar offers an a la carte menu, allowing each guest plenty of options to customize their order. The eatery has also honed its menu, offering a wide price range to accommodate every diner’s budget.

Celebrating the recent 27th anniversary of Wood Ranch, co-founder Eric Anders is helping to take everything they have learned to expand their “Wood Ranch brand with a twist” to satisfy today’s on-the-go visitors who are craving high quality food, fast service and inviting surroundings when they dine. Says Anders, “We’re excited and proud of what we’ve developed, and believe our guests will be, too!”

At WR Kitchen & Bar, guests will be greeted upon arrival and invited to order from a station at the bar before choosing from the location’s vast seating options in the dining room, bar or patio. The meal will then be delivered, with servers available throughout the entire visit for additional tableside service, whether it’s ordering another round of drinks, dessert, or for special requests.

For dessert, WR Kitchen & Bar will offer Warm Butter Cake and a Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie, both house-made. Alongside those favorites will be new creations such as tacos, which will include a choice of brisket, pulled pork, salmon, roasted chicken, tri tip or roasted cauliflower.

A full bar awaits

WR Kitchen & Bar will also house a full bar, curated by the concept’s talented beverage team, touting hand-crafted batch cocktails, 12 craft beers on draft, and several outstanding value-priced wines. The bar will evoke a lively atmosphere, with seating for 93 inside and an additional 58 on the patio.

“You’ll love our bar. Come in and relax! Get a small bite to tide you over until dinner. We’ve worked hard to meet the needs of our guests,” says co-founder Ofer Shemtov. “Of course, we’ll learn more along the way as we discover how we can best serve the community in, and around Carlsbad.”
