What’s On at Carté Hotel’s Rooftop This June

Carté Hotel San Diego Downtown is turning up the energy on its Little Italy rooftop this June. Between live music, World Cup watch parties, salsa dancing, and a fitness-and-brunch morning, the lineup offers something for just about any mood. All with sweeping views of the downtown San Diego skyline.

Here’s what’s coming up.

Live Music Thursdays: The Rooftop’s Weekly Ritual

Thursdays at The Rooftop have earned their place in the weekly rotation for a reason. A rotating roster of live entertainment keeps things fresh each week, with the skyline spread out below and a full bar within reach.

It’s the kind of setting that works for a first date, a catch-up with friends, or just a solid reason to leave the house mid-week. The 16th-floor views alone are reason enough to show up.

📆 Every Thursday | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

The World Cup Comes to Little Italy

Carté Hotel’s Rooftop is going all in on the FIFA World Cup this summer, hosting watch parties throughout the tournament. The game-day menu is built to match the energy – mini poke bowls, buffalo wings, classic wagyu cheeseburgers, Caesar salads, and beer-battered fries cover the savory side.

Save room for dessert, because the spread rounds out with coconut panna cotta, flourless chocolate cake, and honey sticky pudding. Watching the matches with a rooftop crowd, good food, and a skyline backdrop makes for a pretty hard setup to beat.

📆 Thursday, June 11 – Sunday, July 19, 2026

Salsa Night With Majesty in Motion Dance Company

The Rooftop teams up with Majesty in Motion Dance Company for an evening of salsa and bachata set against downtown San Diego views. The night opens with a beginner-friendly lesson before moving into social dancing, rooftop food, and drinks – no partner or prior experience needed.

Admission is $20, and the vibe is welcoming whether it’s your first time on a dance floor or your hundredth. It’s one of those nights where the energy does the work for you.

📆 Sunday, June 14, 2026 | 5 PM – 9 PM

Skyline Wellness: Sweat First, Brunch Second

Carté Hotel’s Skyline Wellness Series pairs a rooftop workout with a spread that makes the effort feel earned. Instructor Loretta leads a Full Body Fit class focused on controlled precision, sculpting, and strength – all with 16th-floor skyline views as the backdrop.

After the class, the group gathers over a buffet-style brunch featuring avocado toast, Mediterranean kale salad, egg white spinach wraps, Caesar wraps, and protein smoothies. At $40 a ticket, it covers the full morning in one shot.

📆 Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 9 AM – 11 AM
