CLUE Comes to Life in an Epic Campus Adventure

CLUE: A Walking Mystery transforms UC San Diego into a real-life board game where we become the detectives tracking down clues across iconic campus landmarks.

This immersive experience combines the best elements of scavenger hunts and escape rooms, challenging players to solve the classic mystery through interactive puzzles and campus exploration.

The Game Reimagined

The story picks up where the original left off—the murder was never solved, the mansion was sold, and furniture from all nine rooms has been scattered across UC San Diego’s campus.

Our mission involves tracking down these missing pieces, solving puzzles hidden within them, and uncovering who did it, where, and with what weapon.

Starting at the Epstein Family Amphitheater, the adventure winds through campus highlights like the Stuart Collection’s Snake Path and the iconic Geisel Library. It’s exactly the kind of creative programming that transforms familiar spaces into something completely new and engaging.

Team Strategy and Competition

Each time slot accommodates up to 20 detectives, with the Butler dividing players into investigation teams of four to five people. Larger groups get split into rival teams, creating friendly competition that adds another layer of excitement to the mystery-solving experience.

The format works perfectly for date nights, friend groups, or team-building activities. Whether you’re working together or competing against other teams, the collaborative puzzle-solving creates natural bonding opportunities while exploring the beautiful UC San Diego campus.

Interactive Campus Exploration

What makes this experience particularly compelling is how it uses the campus itself as part of the game mechanics. Rather than just walking from point to point, players engage with actual campus landmarks in new ways, discovering hidden details and perspectives they might never notice otherwise.

The combination of physical movement, mental challenges, and collaborative problem-solving creates an experience that’s both intellectually stimulating and physically engaging. It’s perfect for anyone who loves puzzles but wants something more active than traditional escape rooms.

Accessible Mystery Fun

With tickets starting at $25 and group discounts available, the experience remains accessible while offering genuine value. The various time slots throughout the day make it easy to fit into different schedules, whether you’re planning an afternoon adventure or evening entertainment.
