Cori Trattoria Pastificio Received Gambero Rosso Recognition

Congratulations to San Diego’s Cori Trattoria Pastificio, which was recently awarded in the “Top Italian Restaurant 2023 Guide” by Gambero Rosso, Italy’s leading food and wine rating group — the Italian equivalent of a Michelin Star!

A well-deserved Gambero Rosso Three Forks award

Gambero Rosso, a leading rating group in the food and wine industry in Italy, is a digital and printed guide of the best Italian restaurants in the world.

The award is symbolized by a fork and awarded on a three-point scale — three forks being the highest-ranking representing restaurants with the utmost of culinary expertise in authenticity, exceptional service, and an expertly curated wine list.

Cori Trattoria Pastificio is honored to be 1 of the 30 restaurants to have earned three forks in the world, as well as 1 of the only 5 Italian restaurants awarded in the USA to have earned three forks. This recognition brings great pride to the team at Cori’s, as well as to the entire city of San Diego.

Congratulations, Cori Trattoria!

From Chef Accursio: “We are delighted and honored to have reached this great award. My team and I work every single day in search of particular ingredients, cooking techniques, new pairings, particular wines that best express the characteristics of native Italian wines, researching new and vibrant ways to make the service fun, and life balance of our team.”

“Today is a huge day for my team and I, and a great incentive to do more and raise the level of Italian cuisine in San Diego and the USA.”

Cori Trattoria Pastificio is located at 2977 Upas St, San Diego, CA 92104.
