Celebrating 30 years, Del Mar Highlands Town Center is adding a collection of 12 new tenants featuring boutique fashion, wellness, entertainment, beauty, and dining.  New and expanding tenant locations span across the Center with a continued focus on the customer experience with lifestyle and convenience.

Incoming tenants include DIESEL, A Bookstore; Little Apple; Vuori; The Shade Store; Rumeur Lingerie; Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream; Happy Lemon; Nordic Hygge, Cascade Spa; and Perlman Clinic. Del Mar Highlands Town Center favorites CeramiCafe and Tucci Boutique will also be moving and expanding their locations within the Center.

These new tenants will join over 70 existing retailers spanning over 400,000 square feet of best-in-class offerings tailored to Carmel Valley’s residents and bustling daytime office population. Donahue Schriber’s leasing strategy for Del Mar Highlands Town Center focuses on a wide array of retail, dining, and services tailored to meet both the needs and wants of its coastal North County community.

The popular, independent California-based bookstore, DIESEL, A Bookstore, will open its doors at Del Mar Highlands Town Center in November. Celebrating 30 years in business, the bookstore will bring the community together for unique author signings and reading events at this new location.

Local clothing retailer, Little Apple, is opening its Del Mar Highlands Town Center location in October with modern women’s clothing of staple and unique pieces and accessories. Sister owners, Jeanne Ring and Merrie Craig, developed their style philosophy from their professional and life experiences living in New York City and Southern California.

Encinitas’ homegrown lifestyle apparel brand, Vuori, will be also launching in November. The founder, Joe Kudla, created the line with everyday activities in mind after seeing a lack of fitness brands that blurred the lines of activewear and daily fashion. The fitness apparel features modern designs for both men and women and is on track to become a nationally-recognized brand with celebrities, athletes and fitness devotees. Shoppers will find Vuori’s new location just steps away from Jimbo’s and new boutiques.

Incoming spring of 2020, The Shade Store will open a new showroom bringing a definitive custom window treatment experience complete with interactive product displays, expert design advice, and access to the brand’s 1,300+ exclusive material collection.

Women-owned business, Rumeur Lingerie, will also be opening in Del Mar Highlands Town Center this winter. The boutique will feature a mix of intimate brands such as Simone Perele, Empreinte, Maison Lejaby, and Cake bringing a premium-to-luxury lingerie apparel destination to the Center.

The Center’s long-time tenants, Tucci Boutique and CeramiCafe, will be moving their locations with expanded and fresh retail spaces. Opening in November, Tucci’s female-focused fashion boutique known for its chic aesthetic and trendsetting selection of apparel, shoes and accessories will soon have a bigger footprint at the Center. Their stylists keep customers’ wardrobes fresh with contemporary designers and classic pieces. Slated to open in spring of 2020, CeramiCafe’s new expanded location will feature an outdoor patio for guests to create their own unique works of art using ceramics, clay and mosaics.

DINING:

In addition to The Sky Deck restaurant collective opening in spring of 2020, Del Mar Highlands Town Center is adding a curated array of unique restaurants focusing on the customer experience. The Center will welcome Nordic Hygge, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, and Happy Lemon to its roster of culinary craft.

Recognized for having the best ice cream in the world, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream creates over 100 flavors of ice cream fresh every day using equipment and methods unique to the creamery. The first location was developed in Youngstown, Ohio in 1945 and will open its newest location at the Center this fall.

Coming this fall, Happy Lemon brings a unique tea experience to the Center. Known for its traditional Taiwanese bubble tea, the restaurant also offers a fresh menu spanning lemonades, smoothies, and snacks.

The first of its kind, Nordic Hygge will be bringing Nordic “hyggelig”, a pleasant café experience to San Diego with its location in Del Mar Highlands Town Center. Opening its first flagship location this winter, the Danish café offers smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, and organic baked goods made from flour directly imported from Denmark.

WELLNESS:

Cascade Spa will be opening their doors at Del Mar Highlands Town Center in spring of 2020. The spa will bring a meditative atmosphere with an array of services from body massages to organic scrubs.

This November, Del Mar Highlands Town Center will welcome Perlman Clinic with its newest primary care facility. Perlman Clinic providers span Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Preventive Medicine. Focused on the patient experience, Perlman Clinic care providers typically see fewer patients each day than the industry average.

The Sky Deck, located above the newly opened Jimbo’s, will bring ten dining destinations, a central cocktail bar, and an elevated outdoor “brewer’s deck” featuring Northern Pine, Rough Draft Brewing, and Boochcraft Kombucha on an outdoor deck with a view. The unique concept inspires locals and visitors alike to enjoy dining in a destination that encourages lively social gatherings under a rooftop skylight.
