Festivities include a Best Tamale Contest, Tamale Ordering & Tasting, Local Craft Beer & Wine Garden and Food Vendors. Bring your pooch and enter in the Chihuahua Costume Contest!

Craft Vendors sell handmade, holiday items, multicultural holiday decor, Maker San Diego, kids craft area, Inflatable Bounce Houses, face painters and more! The Escondido Tamale Festival is produced by the Escondido Downtown Business Association for the marketing, support, and preservation of the 127 yr Old Historic Downtown Business District.
