A Short Walk Home: Take To The Streets To Support San Diego’s Homeless
San Diego’s homeless population is the fourth largest in the nation, and thousands of these transient individuals seek shelter on our city streets. We all know it’s a big challenge…here’s an opportunity to help!
Join hundreds of caring San Diegans as they take to the streets for San Diego’s first and only walk to end homelessness, A Short Walk Home.
Participants of A Short Walk Home will finish their two-mile walk by passing through an oversized front door at the finish line, symbolizing their commitment to helping their neighbors access a safe and affordable place to call home.
Before they lace up their shoes, participating teams fundraise for services that empower San Diego’s homeless to get back on their feet. Proceeds from A Short Walk Home will support Father Joe’s Villages’ work to end the homelessness crisis and increase access to affordable housing.
Come walk with us.
See you there!
