Platinum’s React Foundation To Host ‘Acapulco Gold’ A Pride Extravaganza Charity Event
Platinum, a prominent manufacturer of ingestible cannabis products, announced its Pride event, “Acapulco Gold” A Pride Extravaganza, charity event benefiting Equality CA, a non-profit civil rights organization that advocates for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people in California.

A Pride Extravaganza!
The event is sponsored by Platinum’s React Foundation and an additional donation of $5,000 will be made to Equality CA in honor of the city’s Pride month. The event will take place at the Hillcrest Athletic Club in San Diego on Saturday, July 17.
Guests can expect to find live entertainment including go-go dancers, 5 DJ performances, bar and a “Platinum” lounge. Also included are giveaways and fundraiser activations with proceeds donated to Equality CA. This is the third Pride event sponsored by the React Foundation.
“We’ve been working with the LGBTQIA+ community year-round through the React Foundation,” said Cody Sadler, Platinum co-founder and head of the React Foundation. “After last year’s lockdown ceasing Pride celebrations, we wanted to make this year extra meaningful,” said Sadler.
About React Foundation
Platinum’s React Foundation was created nearly 3 years ago as a way to give back to six organizations and social causes including suicide prevention, veteran support, world hunger, animal rescue, breast cancer awareness, and pediatric medical care. The React Foundation additionally focuses on LGBTQIA+ causes, having developed a cannabis Pride vape available for purchase year-round. Proceeds from the Pride vape are donated to Equality CA.

Admission to “Acapulco Gold” is open to the public (21+) from noon to 7PM on Saturday, July 17. A $25 donation is suggested. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. For more information, please visit here.
