Get Ready for the 9th Annual Onesie Beach Volleyball Tournament!
The 9th Annual Onesie Beach Volleyball Tournament is set to bring fun, creativity, and friendly competition to Del Mar Dog Beach! This playful event combines the excitement of volleyball with the charm of a costume contest, creating an unforgettable day of laughter and camaraderie.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just trying out the sport, this tournament welcomes all while celebrating the joy of quirky onesies.
The Tournament
Known as the “Greatest Social Beach Volleyball Tournament Ever,” this tradition has been delighting players and spectators alike since 2017. Teams are coed and matched based on skill level—with an extra twist: the more cumbersome and creative your onesie, the better!
Prizes will be awarded for the top teams (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) and for the highly coveted Best Onesie Award.
Why a Onesie?
Because it’s FUN-sie! Wearing a onesie not only adds a playful challenge for veteran players but also provides a cozy option for new participants. January’s cooler beach weather makes it the perfect time to sport your favorite onesie and maybe even take home a prize for your creativity.

The registration fees are $50 per person until January 11, and $65 per person from January 12 to January 20. The registration deadline is January 20, 2025. To sign up, please register here.
