Art Connection: Amplified Urbanism

As city planners and architects unveil their visions of cities that are denser, taller and more diverse, and yet perhaps more isolated, what is the role of arts and culture in these new megalopolises? Do artists play a role in the evolution of city design? Will cities of the future provide spaces for creativity and performance? Will the arts play a central role in our future cities or exist on the periphery?
