Bach Collegium San Diego Brings Baroque Brilliance With Nicholas Phan
Get ready for a musical journey that’ll transport you back in time while asking some seriously modern questions. Bach Collegium San Diego (BCSD) is teaming up with Grammy-nominated tenor, Nicholas Phan, for a show that’s part concert, part conversation, and all kinds of awesome.
Baroque Beats and Big Questions
Nicholas Phan is bringing his “Bach 52” project to town, diving into the world of Bach’s cantata arias.
But here’s the kicker—they’re asking the big question: “Is Bach’s music still relevant today, and is it for everyone?” Spoiler alert: we think the answer is a resounding “heck yes!”
More Than Just Bach
While J.S. Bach is the headliner, we’re also getting treated to some lesser-known baroque gems. Christoph Graupner and Dietrich Buxtehude are joining the party, proving that the 18th century had more than one musical rockstar.
