Barbusa To Kick Off “First Responder Fridays” Series

The Busalacchi Family will be kicking off First Responder Friday, a new series in San Diego put on by First Fold Inc., honoring local Military, Police, EMT, Firefighter, and other first responder families that have lost a loved one.

Barbusa will be serving as the kickoff to the series, hosting the Cavner family from Coronado, whose son, Navy SEAL Chief Bradley S. Kavner, died in 2014. Bradley’s father, a longtime Sergeant with the Coronado Police Department, mother, and brother will be in attendance.

The series will select one family per month in a random lottery to enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant, with the goal of expressing gratitude towards the amazing men and women to fight to keep us safe, both locally and abroad. Following the series kick-off at Barbusa on Nov. 22, the series will officially begin on Jan. 3, 2020, and will continue to be hosted on the first Friday of the month from that point on.
