Bivouac “Takeover Tuesdays” Continues On April 25th With Chef Ron Oliver
Bivouac Ciderworks’ “Takeover Tuesdays,” an ongoing series of collaborative culinary events, continues on April 25th, with an exclusive pop-up menu by acclaimed Chef Ron Oliver, an award-winning cookbook author and former chef de cuisine at the Marine Room and executive chef of fast casual eatery, Luna Grill.
Chef Ron Oliver will bring his new venture, Manos de Mujer Masa Company, artisanal masa for the modern kitchen, to the Biv taproom. The pop-up will specifically feature Purepecha Blue Corn grown by Rosalio Lucas in the town of Uricho, Michoacan, Mexico. The corn is procured by Red Tsiri, an organization that helps growers of heirloom, native, non-GMO corn thrive into the future. A portion of the “Takeover Tuesday” sales will be donated to Red Tsiri.

About Bivouac Chef “Takeover Tuesdays”
Each “Takeover Tuesday” serves to introduce an exciting culinary experience to the community, as well as explore the many, unexpected cider pairing possibilities. Since the April 4th launch, the Bivouac kitchen has been taken over by Adobo House’s Chef Marcus Twilegar and Baja California-based nomadic Chef Gilberto Morales. I’ll be sure to share the May “Tuesday Takeover” featured chefs and dates.
