Alila Sessions: Seaside Concert & Dinner Series Features Brett Dennen
Alila Marea Beach Resort, is hosting its third Alila Sessions – a new intimate seaside concert and dinner series benefitting the Rob Machado Foundation – this time featuring acclaimed American folk artist, Brett Dennen.
The series is produced in partnership with iconic concert venue, Belly Up, showcasing performances by celebrated singer-songwriters at the resort’s tranquil beachfront setting, complemented by an elevated dinner, cocktails, ocean breezes and soulful sunsets.

Taking the stage on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 8:30PM, is acclaimed American folk artist, Brett Dennen, known for meditating on life’s most meaningful subjects with equal parts innocence and razor-sharp wit. All ages are welcome to enjoy this mesmerizing performance and original songs reflective of a life well-explored, well-pursued, and well-lived. Doors open at 6:30PM.
Benefitting The Rob Machado Foundation
Created by world-renowned professional surfer and local, Rob Machado, in 2004, the Rob Machado Foundation was founded upon the fundamental belief that our planet needs to be taken care of, and there’s no better place to start than with our local communities and children.
What started out in the early days as the introduction of gardening programs at local schools – has evolved into a water filling station program across a growing network of schools and public places that helps deliver clean, filtered water while encouraging reusables over single-use plastic bottles.
Concert, dinner, and drinks
Tickets are $179 per person and include a pre-show reception-style dinner, cocktail and tasting from Templeton Rye (a full bar will also be available), and concert lounge seating in the Oceana Ballroom. Tickets are available now and may be purchased online here.
