Carruth Cellars Liberty Station Wine Garden Hosts First Wine Dinner Of The Year
Carruth Cellars’ Liberty Station Wine Garden will host its very first wine dinner of the year on Thursday, June 15th in collaboration with Imperial Beach’s authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant, Balsamico Italian Kitchen.
Guests will gather at the Liberty Station Wine Garden under the stars and twinkling lights to enjoy an alfresco four-course Italian meal prepared by Balsamico Italian Kitchen, paired with Carruth Cellars’ award-winning wines made with grapes sourced from sought-after Northern California appellations.

Balsamico Kitchen’s Elisa and Michele are Italian transplants deriving culinary inspiration from their native Emilia Romagna region, best known for its balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheese, and prosciutto. The night’s menu, prepared with fresh, scratch-made, and imported Italian ingredients, includes:
- Prosciutto E Melone: Melon wrapped in Prosciutto di Parma aged 18 Months | Paired with Carruth Cellars’ 2019 Lake County Sauvignon Blanc
- Caramelle Vecchia Modena: Stuffed pasta with ricotta and spinach in a light cream sauce with crispy pancetta and aged Balsamic Vinegar | Paired with Carruth Cellars’ 2019 Sonoma Sangiovese
- Angus Roast Beef and Arugula Parmesan Salad: Thinly sliced Angus roast beef, arugula, Parmesan cheese aged 24 months | Paired with Carruth Cellars’ 2018 Chalk Hill Cabernet Franc
