The Catalina Wine Mixer is Back for its Biggest Year Yet
If you’ve ever wanted to spend a weekend on a stunning island with great wine, live music, and a serious good-time vibe, this is it. The Catalina Wine Mixer returns to Descanso Beach Club for its 11th year, and the lineup is stacked.
What’s Going Down
The weekend kicks off Friday, May 29, with the Opening Bash – happening for the first time ever in the historic Catalina Casino Wrigley Ballroom.
If you’re going VIP, the evening at the Catalina Country Club includes chef-curated food stations, exceptional wines, and live music. There’s also a special screening of Step Brothers at the Avalon Theatre before the party moves to Descanso Beach Club.
New This Year: The Wine Mixer Games
Fresh for 2026, the Wine Mixer Games bring lighthearted competitions including mini golf and a basketball free-throw contest. Add-on tickets are $25, with winners taking home Catalina Island Company Gift Cards.
Saturday: The Main Event
Descanso Beach Club transforms into a full festival on Saturday, with wine tastings, VIP lounges, and live performances running from afternoon into the evening.
The headliner is GRAMMY-nominated MEDUZA, joined by MC4D, gnash, Brent George, DJ Michael Basic, and Patrick & The LVB. VIP folks get early access, ocean views, elevated food stations, and free-flowing premium wines.
Making a Weekend of it
Hotel and ferry packages make the full trip easy, with the beachfront Pavilion Hotel and the renovated Hotel Atwater both steps from the action. Tickets are moving fast – you must be 21 or older to attend.
