Experience Chinese Moon Festival At Balboa Park

The sights, and sounds of Chinese Moon Festival come alive with remarkable entertainment this weekend at the Organ Pavilion, Balboa Park.

The show begins with the sounds of marching Korean drummers, which will introduce a magical night of Chinese acrobatic fests, colorful swirling Chinese dance, and Chinese music from professional perfomers.

The show will conclude with a crescendo of sounds and with lion dancer prancing through the audience.

In addition to the cultural performances, you’ll experience ground calligraphy and gourd carving, and food such as traditional moon cakes, dumplings, and milk tea, Chinese street food crepes called “Jianbing”, amazing BBQ skewers and other street food.
