Eat Your Way Through Taste of East Village
Prepare your bellies for a culinary adventure. Taste of East Village is back for two nights, inviting locals and visitors to eat, sip, and stroll through Downtown San Diego’s East Village as local restaurants serve up their best bites.
Whether you’re a longtime East Village regular or exploring the neighborhood for the first time, there’s no better way to experience it than one bite at a time. With more than 30 restaurants involved, you’re guaranteed to walk away with a few new favorites.
Two Routes, Two Nights of Tasting
Once you check in, you’ll receive a Taste Passport mapping out every participating restaurant and their menu offerings for the night.
Wednesday covers the South Route, checking in at LUCE Loft before strolling through spots like Asa Bakery, Bub’s at the Ballpark, Café de l’Opera, LandShark Bar & Grill at Margaritaville, Lost Abbey, Milk & Cookies, and more.
Thursday shifts to the North Route, checking in at Lola 55 and exploring stops including Bay City Brewing, Beshock Ramen, East Village Tavern + Bowl, Knotty Barrel, The Invigatorium, and The Kebab Shop, among others.

Live Music Along the Way
Your culinary adventure kicks off with check-in at LUCE Loft on Wednesday and Lola 55 on Thursday, where you’ll grab your Taste Passport before heading out to explore.
Live music plays throughout the neighborhood at each stop, keeping the good vibes going as you make your way from restaurant to restaurant.
It’s the kind of soundtrack that makes wandering from bite to bite feel like part of the fun rather than just getting from point A to point B. Between the food and the music, there’s rarely a quiet moment along the route.
