Fashion Week San Diego® Announces Spring Showcase 2022
Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD) announced the full in-person return of its annual Spring Showcase event on April 23 at Downtown San Diego’s Hotel Republic.
The signature showcase event offers attendees an exclusive first look at FWSD’s 2022 designers’ pieces on the runway in advance of the annual fall runway show and a glimpse at voguish beauty trends with Gila Rut Salon.
This year’s Spring Showcase will be hosted by Jodi Kodesh, San Diego’s best weather woman and Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, and Jonathan Harris, longtime broadcast commentator, host, producer and columnist.

About Fashion Week San Diego
Fashion Week San Diego® (FWSD) is an annual bi-national event, comprised of a Fall Runway Show and a series of exclusive events throughout San Diego County and New York, connecting consumers directly with designers through annual events, social media and sales opportunities.
Launched by San Diego fashion Entrepreneur, Allison Andrews, in 2007 and operated by GFASH Designer Gwen Bates, FWSD is designed to grow the developing local retail industry and serve as a launching pad for emerging designers.
Designers from San Diego to Brazil
The Spring Showcase 2022 event features 10 globally emerging designers, from San Diego to Brazil, showcasing their original designs with styles ranging from ready-to-wear to sustainable to couture.
Through its 14 years of events, FWSD has become a powerful launching pad for up-and-coming designers, brands and models, choosing only the best of the industry for the FWSD runway. This year’s featured designers include Bliss and Bles, Dorotheaa, Elegantique, Jumpball Apparel, MOTIV, Needles and Spines, Odd Bird Designs, Nina Cicolo, Sierra Mitchell, and Territa Torres. Cocktails and entertainment
As both an exclusive high-fashion event and social mixer, Spring Showcase guests are also treated to music from Billy the Kid, tasty Cutwater Spirits canned beverages, specialty cocktails by Topside Terrance Restaurant and the stylish trendsetting ambiance of Hotel Republic.
