Young Cancer Patients Walk The Red Carpet At The 12th Annual “Unforgettable Prom”
The Friends of Scott Foundation will be holding their 12th annual “Unforgettable Prom” on April 13th.
This year’s theme is Star Wars “Reach for the Stars”, and will be held at The San Diego Natural History Museum.
About Friends of Scott
The Friends of Scott Foundation was created by the friends and family of a young man who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 13, and lost his year long battle to the disease one year later.
The foundation’s mission is to ensure that the children and families impacted by cancer get the emotional and financial support they need to cope with the disease.
Many of the teens that attend the prom go through daily battles that would test the resolve of even the most fiercest Jedi Knights. Going to the “Unforgettable Prom” makes it possible for teens who are too sick to attend their own proms to be part of this important rite of passage.
Everyone is encouraged to be at the red carpet to cheer them on!
See you there!
