Gianni Buonomo Vintners Celebrates Blaufränkisch Appreciation Day
We have some BAD news. Well, it’s technically good…great, actually! Blaufränkisch Appreciation Day [BAD] will finally be here on Saturday Sept. 24, and you bet Gianni Buonomo Vintners got something special happening at the winery!
Gianni Buonomo is celebrating their Platinum award-winning 2018 Blaufränkisch that beat out all international entries at the 2022 Great American International Wine Competition in New York.
For this special event, winemaker Keith and Bobby from OB Meat Co. collaborated to create a sausage called — you guessed it — Blaufränkisch!
There will be pouring of Blau on Blaufränkisch Appreciation Day while OB Meats grills up sausages on site. Bobby’s special Blaufränkisch sausage is a pork sausage with cherry and chèvre cheese. For $25, you’ll get a glass of Blau and sausage with sides!
