Halloween Aglow Lights Up Birch Aquarium

Birch Aquarium at Scripps is bringing back Halloween Aglow, and it’s shaping up to be the coolest underwater party this side of Atlantis.

We’re talking two nights of fin-tastic fun that’ll have you and your little guppies exploring the wonders of the deep in a whole new light.

Bioluminescent Wonders and Slime Science

Ever wonder what the ocean looks like after dark? Here’s your chance to find out! The Living Light Experience will have you oohing and aahing over bioluminescent creatures that look like they’re straight out of a sci-fi movie.

And for all you budding mad scientists, there’s a slime station where you can get your hands gooey while learning about the science behind this sticky stuff.

Spooky Shenanigans and Aquatic Adventures

Billy Lee and the Swamp Critters are bringing the tunes, setting the perfect soundtrack for your underwater explorations.

Watch in amazement as pumpkins get carved underwater (yeah, you read that right), join a costume parade that would make Aquaman jealous, and catch a shark feeding that’ll have you on the edge of your seat.

Glowing Good Times for All Ages

The fun doesn’t stop there! Race glowing boats down the new Riveropolis water-play feature, test your skills at classic games like Skeeball, and trick-or-treat your way through the aquarium. Don’t forget to rock your best costume—there’s a photo booth waiting to capture your spooky splendor.

Halloween Aglow is happening on October 25 and 26 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. Tickets are $40 for adults $35 for kids, with a discount for members. Tiny tots two and under swim in free!
