Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With the Irish Goodbye Pop-Up at The Lion’s Share
This St. Patrick’s Day, get ready for an unforgettable night in San Diego’s Marina District, where the renowned craft cocktail bar and restaurant, The Lion’s Share, is gearing up to play host to the first Irish Goodbye fish & chips pop-up of 2024.
A concept from Ian Ward, Bar Manager at Michelin 3-star Addison, Irish Goodbye has popped up to serve Irish-style bites at establishments around San Diego, including Coin-Op Game Room, Fernside, Tahona Bar, and Wormwood.
The 3/17 pop-up will offer a menu of classic Fish & Chips prepared with local curried fish ($17, served with vinegar chips, signature Irish Goodbye tartar & red pepper ketchup), Irish Nachos ($12, potato skins topped with wild boar bacon, Irish cheddar), and Corned Beef Tongue & Cabbage Sliders ($15).
The Irish Goodbye pop-up will serve a complementary cocktail menu, featuring Roe & Co Irish Whiskey, plus Guinness Irish Stout.
Sip on a Guiness Old Fashioned (Roe & Co., Guinness Stout reduction, orange bitters), Cameron’s Kick (Roe & Co., Johnnie Walker Black, orgeat, lemon), and Irish Coffee (local coffee, Roe & Co., Demerara, heavy whip) with a zero-proof version available prepared with Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits.
