Giddy Up for Good at Ivey Ranch Park’s 14th Annual Western Hoedown
We’re saddling up for a cause that’ll make your spurs jingle! The Ivey Ranch Park Association is throwing their 14th Annual Western Hoedown, and it’s shaping up to be a knee-slapping good time for all.
This isn’t just any old shindig—it’s a chance to support an organization that’s been changing lives for over 40 years. Ivey Ranch Park offers everything from equine therapy to after-school care, all aimed at enhancing the lives of folks with and without disabilities.
Horsing Around for a Cause
Tonya Danielly, the head wrangler (okay, Executive Director) of Ivey Ranch Park Association, is aiming high this year. They’re looking to rustle up $200,000 to expand their programs and lasso that waiting list. It’s all about getting help to families faster than a horse can bolt from an open gate.
What’s on the Western Hoedown Horizon?
- Horse-riding demos that’ll make you say “Yeehaw!”
- Hayrides for the whole posse
- Country tunes to get your boots tapping
- Grub from Outback Steakhouse (no chuck wagon required)
- A Kid’s Corral for the little buckaroos
- An ROTC flag demonstration to kick things off with a bang
And if you’re feeling lucky, mosey on over to the silent auction. With over 100 items up for grabs—from weekend getaways to theme park tickets—you might just strike gold.
