Why We’re Freaking Out About Marvel Universe LIVE…

I would say I am a totally normal female. I watch my fair share of rom-coms, I love my daily dose of chocolate, I appreciate a dozen pretty flowers.

But when it comes to Marvel, I just don’t know what happens. I just freakin’ love the stories… I love the mix of action, the triumph of good over evil, a little romance… And don’t even get me started on Tony Stark (and now, Stephen Strange) 😍😍.

That’s why I am particularly excited about Marvel Universe LIVE coming to Valley View Casino Center on Thursday, August 24th, through Sunday, August 27th!

I didn’t even know there was such a thing – apparently it has been around for about 3 years now.

Back in 2013, Feld Entertainment (the guys that bring us Disney On Ice, Monster Jam, etc.) struck a deal with Marvel Entertainment to create a live arena show based off of the Marvel characters.

And if you have been to any of the Feld family’s other works, you know they are quite the talented producing bunch.

For their Marvel Universe LIVE show, the Felds have scouted the best talents of aerialists, acrobats, motorcycle riders and more to recreate the heroes and villains. They’ve even made certain advances in technology and special effects to transform Bruce Banner into the Hulk, levitate Doctor Strange, and throw Spider Man webs right before the audience’s eyes!

Dubbed “Age of Heroes,” this year’s version of Marvel Universe LIVE brings together the Avengers, Spider-Man and new fan favorites, the Guardians of the Galaxy, to stop Loki in his quest to rule the universe.

So, whether you are the “totally normal female,” or a mom or dad with some superhero-psyched kids, it is definitely worth your time to check out this awesome performance!

Plus, my fine colleagues and I have put together a little contest to get you some free tickets!
