The Mustache Bash Brings Funk and Disco to San Diego
Get ready to groove—The Mustache Bash, America’s largest ‘70s-themed disco festival, is back in San Diego and it’s bigger and funkier than ever.
After four sold-out years at Port Pavilion, the festival is moving to Mariners Point Park in Mission Beach, expanding to 6,000 guests and featuring its most impressive lineup yet, with Chromeo, Breakbot & Irfane, Derrick Does Disco, DJ Koco, and The Mustache Bash Family Band.

A Bigger, Funkier Bash
What started as a backyard party among San Diego State friends has grown into a full-blown disco takeover, bringing together thousands of like-minded funky souls who go all in on ‘70s fashion, music, and energy.
This 17th edition of The Mustache Bash boasts four stages and 16 of the funkiest live bands and disco DJs, giving us an immersive throwback experience like no other.
With the move to Mission Beach, the festival is scaling up in a big way. The new venue offers more space, bigger production, and stunning waterfront views. The festival has also teamed up with the producers of Bayfest, adding even more expertise to this ever-growing celebration.

A Festival With a Loyal Following
Nearly two decades later, The Mustache Bash is still owned and run by its original founders. Following its second San Francisco edition this fall, the festival is looking toward national expansion—but first, it’s bringing the biggest Bash yet to San Diego.
