Omni La Costa’s Women’s Golf Day Clinic Makes the Game More Welcoming

We’re always here for events that break down barriers and create inclusive spaces, which is exactly what’s happening at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad. Their Women’s Golf Day clinic is designed for women at every skill level, and we love that they’re making golf feel less intimidating and more fun.

What Makes This Special

This isn’t your typical golf lesson. The afternoon kicks off with a one-hour clinic led by La Costa Pros and Raising Golfers, where you’ll learn in a supportive environment surrounded by other women who are there for the same reason—to enjoy the game without pressure.

What we really appreciate is their approach to getting everyone on the course. Instead of throwing beginners into the deep end, they’re using the Operation 36 format, which starts players just 25 yards from the hole. It’s genius, really—you get to experience actual course play without feeling overwhelmed.

The Perfect Flow

After the Women’s Golf Day clinic, you’ll head out for four to five holes of play where you can put those new skills to work. The whole thing wraps up with a reception that sounds like the ideal way to unwind after an afternoon of trying something new or brushing up on existing skills.
