The Pacific Rim Park Friendship Walk
The Pacific Rim Park Friendship Walk, hosted by the Ilan-Lael Foundation, is not only a celebration of cultural diversity and environmental conservation, but also a commemoration of the ongoing Pacific Rim Park Project. This visionary project aims to create an enduring connection between the cultures of the Pacific Rim through the creation of a stunning sculpture park that bridges the gap between art, nature, and community.
With the Ilan-Lael Foundation’s upcoming participation in the World Design Capital 2024, this year’s Friendship Walk takes on added importance.
The San Diego-Tijuana region serves as a vibrant cultural crossroads, and the foundation’s involvement in the global design community highlights the unique creativity and inclusivity that characterizes the area. Carlos de la Mora, CEO of the World Design Capital 2024, will be giving a short presentation at the end of the walk to discuss the year-long celebration of the San Diego and Tijuana region.
