In honor of the official Oktoberfest opening ceremonies taking place in Germany September 16th and 17th, AleSmith Brewing Company is transforming their tasting room into a Bavarian bier hall and will be hosting their very own family-friendly celebration right here in San Diego!

On Saturday, September 16th, join AleSmith for specialty beers, handmade brats by Mastiff Sausage Co. – Food Truck, build-your-own pretzel necklace stations, traditional German music performed live by Gordon Khol Band (12 p.m. – 4 p.m.), 1L AleSmith souvenir steins, kids’ coloring contest, German-inspired games, and more!
The tapping of the kegs will take place at 11 a.m. including German-style specialties such as:
- AleSchmidt Oktoberfest (Märzen)
- Mexican Lager Kellerbier
- Pilsner Kellerbier
- Other Traditional German-style Small Batch Brews: Rauchbier, Schwarzbier, Roggenbier, & Hefeweizen

Starting at 6 p.m., AleSmith’s own Certified Cicerone® beertender, Chris Leguizamon, and Specialty Brewer, Collin Field, will lead guests through decadent pairings of traditional German beers and food.
