Same Same But Different is the Lakeside Festival Escape We Need
Same Same But Different 2025 is happening at Lake Perris, and we’re already counting down the days. This isn’t your typical massive festival experience—they cap it at 7,500 people, which means space to dance, actual conversations with strangers, and that intimate vibe that’s getting harder to find these days.

The Lineup
LSZEE is headlining, which is basically LSDREAM and CloZee joining forces, and honestly? That collaboration alone is worth the drive to Perris.
Add in Zeds Dead bringing their signature bass-heavy grooves, Dr. Fresch with those funky house vibes, and you’ve got a weekend that spans way more genres than most festivals even attempt.
The deeper lineup is where things get really interesting. Boogie T.rio, Opiuo, and DJ Susan round out a roster that knows how to keep the energy flowing from afternoon lakeside sessions to late-night dance floor moments.
Plus, CloZee is doing a sunrise set, and if you’ve never experienced her cinematic soundscapes while the sun comes up over water, you’re missing out.
More Than Just Music
What we love about SSBD is how they’ve built the whole experience around connection. They’re offering 75+ workshops covering everything from yoga sessions with Amplified Yoga’s Donovan McGrath to breathwork, sound healing, and movement classes. There’s even a community 5K if you’re feeling ambitious.
The art installations and interactive experiences are legit, not just Instagram backdrops. We’re talking immersive environments, live painters, and those hidden surprise moments that make festivals feel magical instead of just loud.

Lakeside Camping Done Right
Camping at Lake Perris is where the real festival magic happens. They’ve got options ranging from basic car camping to full glamping setups, all with easy lake access.
The camping community at SSBD is known for being particularly welcoming—it’s where you’ll make those festival friendships that last way longer than the weekend.
The location itself is a beauty. Moreno Beach inside Lake Perris State Park gives you actual beach vibes while you’re dancing to bass music.
