Eat, Shop & Sip Your Way Through San Marcos Harvest Fest
Some fall festivals ask for an hour of your Sunday. This one takes the whole day, and you’ll hand it over happily.
The San Marcos Harvest Fest returns on October along North City Drive. More than 250 vendors, two stages of live music, six local breweries and wineries pouring, and free parking a short walk away. The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce puts it on, and the whole thing is built for wandering.

250+ Vendors and a Very Slow Lap
Plan on wandering. The vendor rows run 250 booths deep, stacked with local makers, handmade goods, and unique finds you didn’t come for and will absolutely leave carrying.
Give yourself more time than you think you need.

Come Hungry, Leave Room for Ice Cream
The food lineup leans hard on street food, with vendors bringing their best versions of it. Award-winning ice cream and family-run restaurants round things out, plus specialty kitchens serving dishes you won’t stumble onto at a regular Sunday lunch.
Eat in rounds instead of committing to one plate. That’s how a street festival is meant to work.

Six Pour Partners, From Societe to Cheval Winery
Dos Desperados, Societe Brewing Company, Tarantula Hill Brewing Co, and Humboldt Cider Co. are all pouring, with Belle Marie Winery and Cheval Winery handling the wine side.
Grab something cold, keep walking, and let the music pull you toward the stage.

Five Sets on the Bornemann Stage
Music runs from noon to closing, and the lineup is worth planning around:
- SugarFix – 12 PM to 12:45 PM
- Music By Eras: Endless Summer Trio – 1 PM to 1:45 PM
- Nick Hames – 2 PM to 2:45 PM
- Elizabeth Bowersox – 3 PM to 3:45 PM
- Celina Rescott – 4 PM to 4:45 PM
Over at the Community Spotlight stage, CJ The DJ and Leading Note Studios keep things going, and dancers and street performers turn up across the festival in between sets.

Build a Scarecrow, Win a Year of Milk
The Hollandia Dairy Scarecrow Contest is back, open to the first 50 people who sign up and running throughout the day. Grand prize is a year’s supply of Hollandia Dairy milk.
Show up early if you want in. Fifty spots go faster than you’d think.
