SeaWorld San Diego Hosts San Diego FC Fan Day
Soccer fans and SeaWorld lovers, this one’s for us. SeaWorld San Diego is hosting San Diego FC Fan Day, bringing player meet-and-greets, photo ops, and family-friendly entertainment to the park – all included with regular admission.
As part of its multi-year partnership with San Diego FC, the park is celebrating our hometown team with an afternoon packed with interactive moments and SDFC spirit.
Meet San Diego FC Players
Fan Day includes the chance to meet San Diego FC players and grab signed full-color player cards. You can also bring one personal SDFC item to be signed per player.
Players scheduled to appear include:
- Luca Bombino (#27 Defender) – A Southern California native who represented the U.S. at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025.
- Duran Ferree (#18 Goalkeeper) – A San Diego native and the club’s first-ever signing.
- Kieran Sargeant (#5 Defender) – Former Houston Dynamo defender who began his professional career in MLS after playing at Georgetown University.
- Oscar Verhoeven (#33 Defender) – A California native and rising young talent who has represented the U.S. at the youth international level.
Autograph signings are available on a first-come, first-served basis during the designated signing window. Only one item per player is permitted, and soccer balls are not allowed inside the park.
Photo Ops, FLOW, and Family Fun
Get up close with the official San Diego FC FLOW, ceremoniously unleashed before hometown games and representing the rhythm and passion of San Diego soccer.
You’ll also find SeaWorld favorites like O.P. Otter and Sydney the Shark dressed in San Diego FC gear and ready for selfies.
Throughout the afternoon, enjoy:
- Face painting
- Craft tables
- A live DJ
- Complimentary family activities
Inside Orca Stadium, the Orca Presentation will feature a special “Welcome SDFC Fans” video reel during the preshow, complete with player highlights.
And because details matter, High Tides Brew will be serving a themed Azul Spritz cocktail during the event. As the sun sets, the tunnel will light up blue in celebration of San Diego pride.

Fan Day lands just in time for Spring Break and coincides with the debut of Sea Lions Tonite, returning with an all-new 2026 version of the fan-favorite sketch show. Expect pop culture parody mixed with engaging animal education, plus extended park hours and seasonal entertainment throughout the break.
SeaWorld’s partnership with San Diego FC continues year-round with match viewings, in-park activations, and special experiences for players and families.
