Self-Realization Fellowship Open House Celebrates 100 Years Of Yoga In The West

To commemorate 100 years of the yoga teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda in America –  revered as the father of Yoga in the West and author of the best-selling spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi –  the San Diego Temple of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) welcomes all to a free open house this Sunday.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a guided meditation and learn more about the yoga meditation teachings of Yogananda, who came to the U.S. in 1920 from his native India and founded SRF that same year. Light refreshments and a tour of the temple grounds will conclude the celebration. All events will take place at the SRF San Diego Temple.
