The Del Mar Opening Day Horse Races may be sold out, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the fun! To kick off the season, San Diego’s luxury boutique nightclub, Sidebar is teaming up with Patrón to celebrate with an Opening Day Afterparty, featuring some special themed cocktails.

Sidebar has joined forces with the team at Patron to host an epic afterparty for the Del Mar Horse Races Opening Day, featuring derby details and music from DJ Kaos. Patron has crafted a special menu of race day-inspired cocktails including:

• Sandia Maria: Patrón Silver, cucumber and fresh watermelon juice, lime, chareau aloe liqueur with a tajin rim, garnished with a cucumber wheel.
• Prizewinner Paloma: Patrón El Cielo, grapefruit juice, pamplemousse giffard, lime, agave and fever tree garnished with a grapefruit half moon.
• Del Mar Manhattan: Patrón Al Alto, sweet vermouth, noilly prat original dry vermouth, martini and rossi “bitter” angostura
